JNLD began working with the National Museum of the American Indian-New York in 2002. Beginning with Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art, we have lit over thirty major new exhibitions, including the recently opened Native New York and Dakota Modern, The Art of
Oscar Howe. Other projects include lighting the new Museum Store and the ImagiNation Activity Center. We recently completed our first project for the NMAI in Washington, DC, Preston Singletary: Raven and the Box of Daylight.

Photos shown are from the exhibitions- Listening to Our Ancestors, Born of Clay, Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art, Glittering World, Navaho Jewelry of the Yazzie Family and Preston Singletary: Raven and the Box of Daylight.

“Working with the NMAI for twenty years has been a fascinating journey of discovery. The consistently engaging exhibitions span Native American culture from the traditional to the contemporary, revealing both its rich heritage and current vitality.”
