NEW YORK

COOPER HEWITT
SMITHSONIAN
DESIGN MUSEUM

JNLD began lighting exhibits for the Cooper Hewitt in 2005 and completed over a dozen new projects before the Museum closed for extensive renovations in 2012. After the Museum reopened, JNLD was engaged on an annual basis to light all their new projects, and this arrangement has been ongoing. Since that time, in May 2015, we have lit over sixty new exhibitions.

Photos shown are from the exhibitions- David Adaje Selects, Provocations, Japonism, Joris Laarman Lab, Iridescence, Making Breaking, Nature- CH Design Triennial 2019, Scraps, The Senses, Thom Browne Selects, and Beauty- CH Design Triennial 2015.

“It is always a pleasure and a challenge to light such a fascinating collection of objects and innovative exhibition designs in this beautiful and historically significant building.”
